Swansway are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant reporting into the Audi North Financial Controller to be based at Carlisle Audi.
You will work closely with the Financial Controller to produce monthly management accounts for the dealership. You will line manage an Accounts Assistant and be responsible for their ongoing development. There may be occasions where you are required to support our other Audi dealerships in the division.
As the Assistant Accountant day-to-day, you will be reporting on sales and service financials of the site and be responsible for production of several weekly/monthly reports. You will be part of the Dealership team and ensure the relevant departments are aware of settlements, pay-outs and daily banking updates.
For this role we are looking for you to have worked as a within the accounts function at a Dealership (18 months +), either as an Assistant Accountant, Accountant or an Accounts Assistant which goes the extra mile and that can demonstrate the duties mentioned above. You should be used to getting your sleeves rolled up and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
